You know, I have to be honest. Hannah Montana really isn't all that bad. I mean, I don't frequently listen to her music, but, compared to a lot of music out there (and the entire genre of black metal), I would have to say Hannah Montana is a whole lot better. I mean you strip away all the Disney stuff, all the kiddie things, and get right down to the music, and it is fairly good. Also, the music doesn't send a bad message to people like tons of other music out there.
My point is, I understand if you don't like Hannah Montana's music, but, the music itself doesn't suck overall. So, since the music doesn't send out a bad/evil message, if you say that Hannah Montana sucks, and things like Korn don't, then I think that you are not judging the music correctly, and are being biased.

I've noticed you use KORN as an example almost everytime we discuss music. I just thought i'd point out that they're not that bad compared to what else is out there, ever heard Canibal Corpse? Anyway, music is all about taste. Personally, I don't see anything good about Hannah's music, but I guess I could see how people could say that about my music to. But it's all music, and if your going to judge it, I guess judging on actual skill and musical talent would be the only fair way. ( I don't think Hannah Montana has any of either of these personally, but again, thats just my opinion).
A quick Comparison perhaps.
A Hannah Montana Song.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcMX-tXntS0
A Motley Crue Song ( my favorite band ( yes, I actually decided on a favorite band))http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sWpS8iSDIY
I was going to put a Cannibal Corpse song on here, but I think Scott would kill me.

KORN is bad, along with any other music that has a bad message in there music. KORN is definitely not the worst though, if you compare them to the entire genre of Black Metal. Also I would like to say that any music that uses profanity is worse than music that doesn't, because there is no point in using it, and it supports it's use. Also, no offense, but if you think Hannah Montana has no skill or musical talent, you are obviously being biased. Anyway, any music that has a bad message, supports bad things, or use bad language such as profanity, will always rate lower in my opinion, because there is no good reason to do so. P.S. I don't really like Hannah Montana's music, but it doesn't suck. P.P.S. Webcomics are funny. ;D

Hey, sorry for bringing up an old subject, but since I haven't been around much, I haven't had the opportunity to comment on a lot.
I wouldn't mind Hannah Montana so much if it weren't for that she has the same problems most young (or old, for that matter) stars do. Miley Cyrus hasn't had the chance to know a real Christian environment, and so she's gotten tweaked like the media life will tweak anyone. I haven't listened to her music personally, but I imagine its decent(er), just not the kind of thing I listen to. Still, I wish she'd stop haunting every nook and cranny at Walmart. There's some faces you see a little too much.
As for the whole black metal matter, you guys aren't gonna come to an answer since you're looking at it from two different viewpoints. The vulgarity of music is something toxic to Christian living, because that music is against God. Making that distinction is impossible until you want to love God like He's loved us, and that takes accepting Jesus.
So I guess the moral of the story is, yeah, Hannah Montana is another hand of the ever reaching Lich Lord Disney, but let's admit it, there's bigger fish to fry in this world.
I like webcomics too.

On Korn, I sorta agree that they're pretty Disturbed (see what I did there?) in some of their music, but I really do like their cover of "Word Up!"
Haha, that's about it.
