@door #end :touch #lock #put n empty /n /i/i /s #put n solid #unlock #end
this will make a door that slides up into the wall above it, all you have to do is pick a char that looks good. for one that opens out, it's like this
@door #end :touch /e #char(char number) /n #char(char number) /i/i /s #char(same char number as the first one) /w #char(char number that it was before you touched it) #end
tell me if that works, it should, but i didn't test it, I just wrote it on here.

Its possible you meant the built-in ZZT doors. If so, those are just basic walls that disapear when you touch them if you have a key. When you touch a door with a red background, it checks to see if you have a key with a red foreground. If not, the door remains solid, but if so, it disapears, and you lose the red key.
If you were talking code, Joshua's suggestion would work, but you would need to make sure you understand #char.

#char (then you put the number of the char that you want to insert)

I'm sure he knows that much, Josh. He probably doesn't know what characters are what. Man, I wish I could attach a file, my ZZT kit has just about all he needs...
Anyway, here is the basic format of ZZT characters:
1 - 31: Misc. Characters. These are mostly meaningless simbles, arrows, card suits, etc.
32 - 126: English Characters. This includes numbers, and punctuation characters.
127 - 173: Other Language characters. This includes stuff like accented letters, etc.
174 - 223: Except the first two, these are the graphical ASCII characters. Fades, and lines, mostly.
224 - 255: Scientific symbols, etc.
I have a guide that shows what each of these looks like, but all the door characters are in the '174 - 223" range.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "cut screen". If you mean the purple flash when you go through a passage, it can't be slowed down. If its an actual board, be more specific, so I can actualy answer your question.
