[glow=blue,2,300]Final Fantasy X[/glow]
Introduction
Okay! Here goes my try at my first walkthrough. This might be easier on a write program, but it don't bug me much.
Really, I don't know anyone who knows this game more than me. You can check my F.F. profile in the "Final Fantasy X", also known as my fanclub (lol). If you have questions or comments on my guide, stick them in the thread titled "Final Fantasy X".
Version History
Version 0.1: Good morning, and welcome to my walk-through construction site! Like all construction sites, this place will be a little dangerous until I clean up the thread. Go ahead and look around, but it will take a bit to finish. Any facts in here are not certain. I'll clean it up soon.
Version 0.2: *Yawn*, I just finished breakfast and it's time to get something fairly finished! Tidus' three items are now complete, but reality is setting in. I will most likely not finish this Walkthrough before I go to college. I hope to finish the weapons and the Cloudy/Celestial Mirror.
Let's start!
This guide will cover all ultimate weapons first. I'll go from there afterward. Again, if you want me to add something, stick it in the other thread.
Ultimate Weapons:
As a general hint, sigil's are harder to get than both crests and weapons. Most crests are found in treasure boxes around the world. Weapons are found by going through related sidequests, and sigils are found by mastering sidequests.
You need all three items to perfect an ultimate weapon. They're well worth it, though. You can make your own that's better, but it's extremely hard to find all the items. You'd need to be strong to get these items.
Tidus: Caladbolg
Abilities:
Damage Breaker (Changes max damage from 9,999 to 99,999. Really important)
----other stuff----
Caladbolg: You must have the Celestial Mirror for this to work. Complete all the chocobo training excercises in the Calm Lands and win the chocobo race. Immediately after winning the race, you'll notic the guard has moved from the Northwest reion of the Calm Lands to watch the race. Now you can go to the Northwest of this area where there is a small trail hidden in the chasm. Use the Celestial Mirror on the symbol on the wall of the chasm.
Sun Crest: A treasure chest in Yevon Dome, where you fought Yunalesca. Should the chest not be in the room, go down the broken stairs once or twice for the chest to appear.
Sun Sigil: Obtain in the Calm Lands through chocobo races. Any time after meeting the lady that let's you train a chocobo, you must complete each excercise until you get to race the lady. In this race, there are balloons (good) and hazards (bad) that affect your total time. If, by collecting lots of balloons, missing most hazards, and racing fast enough, you manage to get a time of 0:0:0 sec., you will be awarded the Sun Sigil.
Yuna: Nirvana
Nirvana:
You can obtain this weapon in the monster arena East of the Calm Lands. There is a chest sitting in the arena that belongs to the man there. Capture all the monsters in the Calm Lands area and talk to the man in the arena. Then you can use the Clestial Mirror to open the chest.
Moon Crest: This is the easiest piece to find! At Besaid Island beach, swim to the westmost part and back south, you'll find a secret cove with a treasure box. It should be easy to find on the map. Open the chest to find the Moon Crest.
Moon Sigil: This is fun to get, since it follows through a lot of the story. You need to collect all of the Aeons, including the optional ones. [Note: This guide does not yet have an Aeon guide. If you cannot find them, please refer to an Aeon specific walkthrough.] Go to Remium Temple, which is near the Calm Lands. (You need a chocobo to get there.) Defeat all of Belgemine's Aeons, then follow the story there.
End Note
[Isn't this fun! Tidus' weapon will be finished, then Yuna's weapon and the Cloudy/Celestial Mirror next. I hope for rapid changes to come within the next month.]
