The staff information needs to stay in the footer, and I think we need a different format for a header.

we could move my header to the bottom, and use it there, it's takes up half the space, and does the function of all of our other things

The header looks way too old-fashioned... We can't use it, it just doesn't fit. The staff information is meant to be its own little box, as part of the info center, rather then in the header, or grouped with other things. This way, people can find who they need easier.

put my header in the footer, it looks twice as good, and takes up half the space, and it doesn't look nearly as old fashoned as the one we currently have

You've said that already, you just re-worded it...
But yeah, I do want to replace everything exept the "Staff Information". Your header could work as a temporairy replacement for some of it, if we could find something to fill the other side of the header with... but we cant keep it... no, its too standard.
Go ahed and add the code, so it'l look just how it should on the main page, and I'll stick it in the header, and remove the "Green Games" and below from the footer... but only until we get something better, okay?

maybe we should put information specific to each board in the center part, that would remove the need for a rules thread in each board
