Merry Christmas, Gamers! I hope you all are sleeping tight dreaming of stockings and presents right now, or are at least trying to get to sleep. Have a good day!

I flew on a plane! And I got upgraded to first class because I'm awesome like that. So I had a good Xmas, even though I don't celebrate it.

Psh, and we heard all about how you had a worse time traveling than we did, but I don't buy it for a second. First Class? Yeah that's troublesome. We're jealous. We didn't even get to sit together either plane on the way out. And it was cramped and stuffy and everyone around us was hacking and coughing (including us teehee, yeah we were sick) and we were supposed to have a one-hour layover in Las Vegas before switching planes, but our first plane was an hour late and so we landed in Las Vegas like 4 minutes before our next plane was supposed to TAKE OFF, so we basically dashed through the airport and jumped on the plane and took off... It wasn't too bad though, 'twas quite an adventure. I guess the point is, Merry Christmas all you peoples!!

My return flight was worse. My flight going there was a nightmare at first and got progressively better.
Christmas day: Get up a 5:45. Drive to Burbank Airport. Get out of car. Go to the Skybus counter to check in for my flight to Columbus. Explode with rage because my flight was canceled and I couldn't reschedule until 3 days into the young adult weekend. So I had to cancel my entire trip to get a refund for that leg of it. Then I was going crazy because to get a flight on any airline would cost me $450 one way. So I realized that I really couldn't afford that and went home. Then I called my cousin who works for American Airlines. She got me two standby tickets out of LAX, to Chicago ORD. The only problem is Chicago is still 300 miles away from Columbus, so I called my friends in Chicago and they agreed to wait and leave when I got there. So I got to Chicago and went to sleep fairly promptly after getting to my friends house. Then we drove for 7.5 hours to Columbus, and I sat in the back with their 3 year old daughter, who has since declared me her best friend. Then I got there, two days later than I had planned on it, but still before the event started.
Trip home: 7 hours in a car. I got back to their place in Chicago and stayed up late watching Gone in Sixty Seconds. Then I got up in the morning and went to the airport with a standby ticket in hand, on the busiest travel day on the planet. I got there at 7:00 AM, and finally got a flight out at 3:40PM. No first class, and I sat between two overweight people who didn't know how to keep their bodies to themselves. I had some very serious urges to blow up in their faces in a sarcastic kind of rant.
So only the trip there was first class, but I had to follow everythign up with hours in a car with a three year old who kept singing twinkle twinkle little star with me. That's right, I was singing.

My plane trip home started out great, playing my DS. Then a few minutes before I was boarding my next flight I found out that I left the DS in the seat pocket and is now flying to who-knows-where. I got the number for lost and found, (called them but they STILL haven't called me back,) and got on the plane for home. Halfway through that flight I got in a theological debate with the lady next to me, which actually was kinda refreshing when compared to losing my DS with FFIII cartridge. Then I was home, slept a few days, skipped my birthday (really, who needs to be 19?), had Christmas, New Years, and am going back to college in a matter of days. Now it's 'bout time this thread sank to the bottom of the ocean. Merry Christmas folks, and God bless.
