Why are all the links black? They look bad!!! Can we change them? The moderator's names look bad also. They look gray.

The grey links will be fixed, we promise. The mod names are a test to master the color silver. We're working on it.

Hmm... I guess it shouldn't hurt to open a duscussion about it. This thread will do, post your oppions. I'm gonna quote the entire thread about this from the moderator lounge. What do you guys think of the colored names? Also, what color do you think we should make the mod/admin names? Right now I have it set to a goldish for the admins and a green-cyan for the mods... But I could make any color that we want (in the visible spectrum), so what do you guys think? You mean you can't do X-ray? Hmm. How about your status brings you closer to green. So Guests would be black, members blue, mods Blue-green, and admins green (but a different shade so they are visible). Yay! I like color! i think i kidna looks good this way Well, why do newbies get to have green? Dark Icelord already made such a comment to me on the color. P.S. The mods look very cyan to me. I see no green in it. P.P.S. I do kinda like the gold admins. Here's a thought... Admins: gold Mods: Silver High ranking member (is there a difference?): greenish cyan or bronze Newbies: ...something boring. Whatever Silver would be better than cyan for the mods, but I'd prefer something greener as long as it is very visible in contrast to the site. Bronze would be cool for something. Hmm, thats a good idea... I could make mods silver, and there are various ranks of members based on postcount. Hmm, I could have various colors of green for members, but what should represent higher rank, dark green or light green? dark green for higher the deeper saturation would represent how far along they have come into the green games community Then we'd need to change the ordinairy links away from such a deep green... I like HC's idea, but what's the ordinary links? Are you sure they have to be different? Sooooooooooo... What color should we make the ordinairy links? THE COLOR OF DEATH!!!!!!!! I have no clue. Really, what does "ordinary link" mean? Do you mean to go to the threads? Yeah - any link that goes anywhere inside or outside the fourum of Green Games except those that lead to a url that begins with " greengames.proboards40.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=" and end with a username. Those I'll color based on whatever we decide lol. But before we do anything we need to find a color that seperates ordinairy links from any shade of user-link color. Is dark blue a prob? It sounds noticable enough. Links don't deserve green. It should be reserved for our members. 'Nuf said. Souds good to me. Total? (I'm gonna call him later today anyway and I'll see what he thinks) dark blue wouldn't go well with the color scheme of our forum, try the hex code 333333 (it'll be a dark grey, that will go much better) We talked about it on the phone, and agreed that: Admins will be: Gold Moderators will be: Silverish... I'll work on it and find which silvery color looks the best Global moderators (though we don't and maybe never will have any...) : will be silverish just like mods Normal members will fade from light green to drak green depending on thier rank which is based off of postcount. I may uptate the code for this later today. EDIT: Fixed it up to the ideas above but I don't really like the dark grey. I actually liked the green a lot better, maybe we can come up with a green like, or find another one that looks just as good? It just doesn't seem as greengamsey as it used to be without green links. I concur, your majesty. Grey blends too much with the black. It doesn't stick out enough and doesn't gain the interest of our viewers. We should either find a green, or how about white? Due to greenmail from a bunch of different users, I've temporairily updated the color to a green-ish. Tomorow (hopefully) Total and I will go over it together and find a color that works.

The odd thing about proboards forums is you have a small range of colors to post in your posts. However, I can make the links any color - design it in MS Paint if you want and tell me the amount of Red, Green, and Blue and I can duplicate it for links on green games.
