what does super smash brothers count as? certainly not 2D Super Smash Brothers is a hybrid between 2D and 3D, so I guess it would qualify as other. But if you wanted to know what style it is closest to I would have to say 2D. It may look 3D but it still retains the 2D graphic gameplay. At least that is my opinion. I hope that helps answer your question. ;D

My vote goes for 2D (I think thats what I voted for... lol. I voted a while back, just didn't post).
In my oppinion, a game doesn't need to look realistic. Games aren't realistic.

Yeah I also agree, if all games were realistic alot of games would be worse, just imagine Advance Wars with realistic graphics.
P.S. I love 2D Rocks! I love Cel Shading more though!

Cel-Shaded 2-D Rocks! Programmers take a lot of time to make a 2-D game that doesn't look realistic. What could be better?
