comments like this i'm not allowing anymore, it turns casefiles into general chat which is NOT something this is for, if you want to ask Rosie how she's doing, do it in a PM or in the lounge.
a more suitable question would be:
"Rosie, you didn't say this in the original post... where do you go to _____"

The topic of the thread is the person, and talking about whats going on doesn't seem to be going off topic... Not to go off topic and start an arugment in this thread (haven't I already done that once? Sorry...) .
I see what you mean though. Chat about whats going on is not on the topic of ther person. Still, would it really cause that much trouble if Rose replied to Daniel's question?
One other note is that most of the casefiles would die without questions like Daniels. They often do die, and thats all that brings them back.

Um... I think I'm gonna keep out of this. Perhaps Rosie can Greenmail me if she wishes to, for now.

They often do die, and thats all that brings them back. threads dying keep forums alive, because you then HAVE to bring new topics to light. this is NOT general chat, this is user bios, who a person is, not what a persond does.

On most forums, the user bios section is for new members to introduce them selves, but on greengames, we don't have many new members. If we let the casefiles die, the section would die with it. Is that a good thing? I understand that you don't want general chat clogging up these threads, but the chat really isn't so general as it seems, from what I've read.
Anyway, umm... why don't we continue this in a thread in suggestions or somewere else, so we don't have to fill Rose's casefile with this.

PRECICELY!
users introduce themselves in the user bios, and then move on to the general chat when they feel comfortable. leaving user bios open for new members so they don't get lost in all of the huge general chat threads.

So, how've you been the past few months, Rosie? ahh, never mind I remember now - I've been good, going downtown a lot, hanging out with Matt, going to tkd but choir season started back up so I'm doing that on Thursdays now, school of course, and I'm gonna try and get a job.
